Identity theft

Identity theft is increasing in proportions. From credit card fraud (skimming, database hacking, …) and phishing (redirects to fraudulent web sites) to the computer hacking in order to obtain personal data, all are examples of identity theft. MyLex advises companies and individuals how to protect themselves against identity theft.

A partner at MyLex is currently investigating the desirability of a Belgian and / or European regulations about identity theft in the ICT. The publication of this study is expected mid May and will be the first Belgian legal publication about identity theft.
